JEWELRY CARE
Forge & Finish, LLC would like to ensure our customer a long, healthy life with their new jewelry. Here are some tips for cleaning and caring for your pieces to withstand the test of time.
General:
Remove jewelry before handling chemicals, household cleaners, exercising, or doing manual labor.
Store jewelry individually in a soft cloth, small box or air-tight plastic bag to prevent marring with other pieces and the natural oxidation process which occurs with all metals over time.
Cleaning:
Bathe jewelry in mild dish soap and warm water. (i.e. Dawn dish soap)
Use a soft toothbrush to gently remove any dirt or debris.
Buff dry with a soft, lint-free cotton cloth.
Maintenance (to be used only with the specific finishes noted):
Use a jewelry polishing cloth to restore a high polish sheen.
Gently use extra fine steel wool to polish a brush finish.
In order to restore a piece of jewelry with a special finish, we offer and suggest sending in your piece to be professionally treated.
Repairs can be sent back to Forge & Finish up to one year from purchase date.
